Why 0.05 PH/s Is a Practical Planning Unit
Below this band, tariff and cooling math behaves differently — here's how we scope visits when you name your target.
When a contact form lists “0.05 PH/s” we know the engagement is past single-unit hobby territory. Breakers, intake area, and noise agreements start to matter at once.
Electrical: A lone S19-class unit might live on a residential-style circuit with careful planning. At 0.05 PH/s and above — often two to four modern units — phase balance and sustained amp draw dominate. We photograph panels first.
Cooling: Heat dumps scale linearly with hash at similar efficiency classes. A room that worked for 0.02 PH/s may recirculate exhaust at 0.06 PH/s without duct changes. Layout reviews use 0.05 PH/s as the threshold where we recommend measuring intake area in square meters, not guessing.
Procurement: Distributors bundle quotes at round PH/s bands. Comparing families at 0.05, 0.10, and 0.20 PH/s shows where breaker upgrades appear — useful even if your final order lands between bands.
We do not treat 0.05 PH/s as a minimum hash for moral or technical superiority. It is simply the point where Korean operators consistently need family-level comparison reports instead of single-unit anecdotes.
If your plan sits at 0.03 PH/s, we still consult — scope narrows to one family and noise. If you are past 0.20 PH/s, expect multi-day visits and phased report chapters.
