Industrial meters in Gangwon often step into higher bands once ASIC rows push past roughly 0.08 PH/s. Operators comparing Antminer S19 variants rarely get tariff math in the same PDF as hash specs.

We metered three units at our Wonju bench on the same 220 V tap: S19 XP, S19k Pro, and S19j Pro, each near nominal firmware. Pool reports ran 72 hours on the same stratum endpoint to reduce variance.

S19 XP delivered the highest stable hash but drew enough watts that a 0.10 PH/s row alone could flip a small farm into the next industrial band during peak summer hours. Breaker planning mattered more than hash bragging.

S19k Pro sat in the middle — hash trailed XP by a margin the client could model, but watts stayed low enough that dual-band tariff modeling showed a narrower daily cost spread than expected.

S19j Pro remains common on secondary markets. Hash was acceptable for aging silicon, but rejected shares climbed after ambient exceeded 32 °C unless intake area matched our earlier layout notes.

None of these observations replace your bill — bring six months of meter data to an assessment. Tariff riders change; miner firmware branches change. The habit worth keeping: model coins per kilowatt-hour, not coins per sticker hash.
